This is an advertisement which gain attention, surprises people and even makes them to talk about it to their friends and people their know. Moreover, this type of advertisement can help to use the budget more efficiently. To make this non-traditional advertisement you have to spend more time and look at everything creatively. In this article we will try to explore ways how to awake creativity and create exceptional solutions. Accept new ideas. New employees, apprentices and even long term employees - all of them can be excellent and full of new ideas. Most important to make an environment, where all employees can freely express ideas. The biggest problem at these modern days is non-acceptance of new ideas, rather than lack of new ideas. So make it clear for every person, that they can offer any type of new ideas. Believe me, you will get invaluable benefits at the end. Changes are good. Most of advertisement agencies not even suggesting to the customers to change their logos at least once every 10 years. Then the company changes it's logo, they also changes it's whole brand with all branded stationary like presentation ring binders, envelopes and other branded components. This change is good, it causes changes and recognition in both - the old loyal customers and people who even newer heard about the company before. Say no to BIG budgets. I know it sounds mad, but usually it's a lot of ways to reach the same target with much more smaller amount. Always try to think about what would you do with zero marketing budget. In situations like this the most interesting ideas are born. Look for new forms of advertising. For example, the other side of business card could be used for a discount code. Presentation folders could be printed with a clients feedbacks, graphs showing customers satisfaction and so on. The head of the company itself should encourage creativity. For example, one of the USA advertising agency CEO introduced the rule, that each employee can develop a new advertising solutions, use all companies resources and not even ask his permission for that. The only one condition - not to do it more than once at 6 months period. There is some other companies, who allow employees spend some time for their part time project development. So if you are the owner, be creative and democratic. Create an environment that encourages creativity. Try to show others, that you encourage their creativity. Exhibit your employees ideas somewhere where everybody could see in the office, share them via company's blog and Social Media. Always mention the name of the idea's creator. This will make them proud themselves and will encourage others to try more. Allow your employees to make their own schedule. I'm not saying to do it all the time, but for example you could allow them to do it for one day a week. Some of employees will take this opportunity and some won't. Most importantly this will create a better and more creative environment. However don't allow them to cross the line and use your generosity to much. Encourage staff training. Learning is not just a lectures at the University. It's a process that is happening all the time. Set up the library in the office where everybody could pick up a book anytime. Invest some budget in your employees education. The best option is to set up the budget for every employee's training and allow them to choose how to spend it by themselves. They could choose which seminar or conference to visit and gain new ideas after. The place for ideas. Every office needs a place where people could freely express their new thoughts and ideas. Make a quiet room with some empty ring binders, where people could come, write down their new ideas and attache inside. Small A5 ring binders will suit fine for that. Just assign one of the staff member regularly review records and take action that all good ideas would be implemented. Try to organize some events for staff creative solutions. Let me tell you one story, why this could give invaluable benefits. Once one of the USA logistics companies organized a night long party at their premises. During this event, all employees had access to the different tasks and activities that encouraged creativity and new ideas. At the end of the event their all together elected the greatest potential ideas. After that night the company started to organize this kind of parties regularly.
